Bringing Families back together

Family life can be full of love, but it can also be complicated. Misunderstandings, conflict, and difficult experiences can sometimes create distance between the people who matter most.

At The Growth Hub, family therapy offers a space to slow things down, listen differently, and begin to understand each other again.


What is family therapy?

Family therapy brings family members together in a safe, supported environment to explore what’s happening within relationships.

It’s not about blame or picking sides. It’s about:

  • Giving everyone a voice 
  • Understanding different perspectives 
  • Improving communication 
  • Strengthening relationships 
  • Finding healthier ways to move forward together 

Every family is different, and sessions are shaped around your unique situation.


What can we help with?

Families come to therapy for many reasons, including:

  • Ongoing conflict or tension at home 
  • Breakdowns in communication 
  • Supporting a child or young person with emotional or behavioural needs 
  • Impact of trauma or past experiences 
  • Changes in family structure (separation, new partners, blended families) 
  • Parenting challenges or differences in approach 
  • Feeling disconnected from one another 

You don’t need everything to be “falling apart” to seek support. Sometimes it’s about strengthening relationships before things reach that point.

How sessions work

🏡 In-person sessions
Held in our welcoming hub spaces, designed to feel calm, safe, and comfortable for families.

💻 Online sessions
Available where appropriate, offering flexibility for families who may find this easier.

Sessions typically last 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the size and needs of the family.


Who is it for?

Family therapy can involve:

  • Parents and children 
  • Siblings 
  • Blended families 
  • Carers and young people 

You don’t have to have all the answers or know exactly what the problem is. If something isn’t working at home, that’s a good place to start.
